Soon we’ll be saying “You remember when we use to cut-out coupons from the paper or print coupons online”? This will soon be a thing of the past. You’ve seen Mom’s at the grocery store flipping thru pages in their coupon binder to find the right coupon for their selection.
Now.. there’s an app for that! And this app was not developed by Apple. Digital Development Partners, Inc. provides the mobile coupon app solution. Digital Development Partners will roll out this new mobile technology to local businesses. This easy solution will allow busy families and professionals to receive an electronic coupon in the form of a text message delivered to their cell phone. If you don’t own a cell phone or if you’re not a member of a social network you just might be getting left behind and missing out on a lot!
Here’s how it works: Let’s say your favorite local restaurant owner or grocer decides to run a one day only special discount or a 5 hour price reduction on select merchandise. The local business owner would use the app to notify his/her customers by sending an electronic coupon message to the list of customer provided cell phone numbers or the restaurant owner could direct or send the electronic coupon text message to the social network of choice either Facebook or Twitter to alert customers.
A recent study released by the American Management Association surveyed 1,174 online users revealed that 47 percent of social network users are most interested in downloading coupons. This survey feedback reflects the need for business owners to connect with social networks to reach new and existing customers. As more business owners make use of the new coupon app, consumers (busy families, professionals and more) can look forward to saving time and money by receiving mobile coupons they can instantly use! Get ready to receive your mobile coupons..the option is coming soon to the cell phone you use!
